"On behalf of Heartland Lutheran High School in Grand Island, Nebraska I want to say THANK you to Kevin Sharp for a job WELL done! We had Kevin speak and sing at our annual fund raiser and he was a "hit" with our audience. He had our audience laughing and deep in thought as he shared his life story and shared his feelings of Hope and Love.
When I booked Kevin for our event my hopes were that he would motivate our crowd to not quit and keep working to help keep our school going. After the nearly 500 attendees gave him a standing ovation before he left the stage, we started our auction and people were generously giving to the school! This year was the largest fund raiser in the nine years our school has existed with more than $90,000 being raised!
We will continue to keep Kevin in our prayers and we wish him the best as he continues to share hope and God's love with everyone."

"There should never be a doubt in ANYONE'S mind that when you book a class act like Kevin Sharp to perform for an event, the man will do ANYTHING!
We booked Kevin to come to Wyoming months before our scheduled event. And while this IS Wyoming - we certainly did NOT expect that our 'EVENING UNDER THE STARS' benefit concert would turn into MUSIC IN THE MAINTENANCE SHOP!! Kevin and his band mates Dan Barnes and John Shaw were the very definition of class, professionalism and patience as we had to move our event inside due to three straight days of rain and cold - in AUGUST!!
Many of the pictures are blurred or dark as a result of the lighting conditions inside - but the music, joy, love and respect that filled the room that night was plainly clear.
A very special thanks to Kevin and the guys in the band - we will forever be your greatest fans - we OWE you!!"

"I was talking to Ann at Make A Wish today and we were trying to figure out what was different with our event in that the last two years we raised so much money and the only thing that we added both years was Kevin! I know he is the one helping to make this difference - so when you get fundraising people saying it may be too much, tell them how our event has increased since we booked Kevin. Just from last year we raised $31,000.00 more in inkind and cash than in previous years. I think that more than pays to have Kevin here!"

"We were absolutely thrilled with Kevin and Dan’s performance at our Chronic Illness Initiative Symposium last week. The combination of their songs and words put a face and - even more important - a heart to what it’s like to live with chronic illness. I saw many a tear in the audience, and we had many, many positive comments from those attending. They are also just great guys and so easy to work with. We count them among our friends now and hope to see them again soon.
I know, too, that Kevin went way out of his way to help us. We are so appreciative of his dedication and kindness."

"Sue, I just wanted to let you know that Kevin and Dan were delightful! Everyone was so excited to meet them and they were just wonderful to work with! We are going to put out another email to all the two year college’s Disability Support Services Departments and let them know how inspiring Kevin’s message was and what a success the entire night was. There were students there last night that told me how much they appreciated us bringing Kevin out and some were just struggling financially but needed encouragement so much. It was a pleasure working with you, Kevin and Dan!"

"I just wanted to drop a note to thank you again for visiting us in Ohio this weekend!! I am so impressed by you! We had some truly inspirational speakers at the convention. I still can't believe that you took time out of your schedule to hang out with some college students and even do karaoke with us!! I really find it wonderful that you do so much for other people through the Make-A-Wish foundation and your speeches. I got so much out of your talk and could listen to you forever. I wish more famous people were like you!
Thanks again for the way you reached out to us!! I have been listening to your CD since the convention and will always enjoy listening to it!!"

"Because of Kevin's amazing gift and the effort he put into the evening we raised $7,000 and will be able to grant a wish to two children in our community. As a first year event we are very pleased to have pulled this off, the fact that someone was willing to pay $1,000 for a guitar signed by Kevin gave us a huge boost! Kevin so impressed everyone there he signed autographs, talked to everyone, took pictures and did not leave until everyone that wanted to meet him did! I heard many people commenting on how caring and kind Kevin is and we whole heartedly agree with this statement.
As a company Make-A-Wish is very important to our organization and we are always pleased to partner with others that share that love and devotion. After the concert all our managers were talking and they decided this will be an annual event with Kevin and the guys to help raise funds for our favorite charity!"

"Our event went very well! Wings volunteers left the luncheon touched, inspired, entertained and honored . Not only did Kevin deliver, he also talked at length to many volunteers who wanted to meet him. In fact, he and Dan Barnes were the last to leave the room.
Thank you for arranging the many details for us!"

"On behalf of Phi Theta Kappa, I wish to express our deepest gratitude for your many contributions toward making our 2007 International Convention an outstanding success.
First, your address to our Opening Session had everything - fellowship, humor and above all inspiration - that was needed to bring our audience together. Our membership certainly responded to your message of hope - you inspired them to continue to make a difference in the fight against cancer, and to support Relay For Life. Your singing talents, your enthusiasm, and your ability to draw the audience into your message was outstanding.
Second, your participation in our Academic Marketplace was a special opportunity for our members to personally meet you. Many of our members are also cancer survivors, are coping with cancer in their families, or have lost loved ones to this dread disease - your frank and open account of your experience gave them hope for a positive outcome in their lives.
And finally, your willingness to return on a second day, and again stay as long as our people lined up to speak with you, was an added bonus, and something that few speakers are willing to do. This is certainly a testimonial to your commitment to make a huge impact in the fight to conquer cancer.
Kevin, we appreciate your inspiration, your humility and your obvious concern for all people everywhere. We could not have asked for a better speaker to open our 2007 International Convention."

"I just wanted to thank you for taking time to come and share your life with us here at CCCCD in Plano, Texas tonight. For you have opened so many hearts and so many minds in so many at our college tonight. In your book you said we all hear all the time, "There is light at the end of the tunnel." Well I wanted to share one more thing about that light. To me that light is God, and with him and people like you, our friends and family we can all make this world a much better place. I have not been in your shoes, but know you and your family will be in my prayers each night. I hope you will come back to Plano, Texas soon."

"What an inspiration Kevin must be to those he comes in contact with
each day. I know that just in the short time we had with him for the
concert and meeting him afterwards that there was such a sweet spirit
about him. Overcoming his own battle and reaching out to help others
in need. I am overwhelmed. What a pleasure to have spent an evening
with him."

"As a mother who lost her twelve-year-old son to cancer seven years ago, your words, your heart and your loving and caring soul helped me heal just a little bit more that night. Please never stop your fight for the rest of us. Your fight for the cause and cure for cancer earns you a place in Heaven sitting right next to God himself. I hope you are given the chance someday to show the world what a wonderful and straigt shooter you are about the fight for cancer. You have forever changed our lives in a way that we needed it the most. Thank you for being the backbone in the fight for cancer."

"My family and I just attended Kevin's concert for Make A Wish on Sunday September 30, 2007. We often volunteer for these events and also put on a fundraiser every year in memory of a friend that passed away in a motorcycle accident. We took our son Austin who is 12 and he will never forget that night. Austin and Kevin became fast friends (both loving motorcycles and also both having wrecked recently). As we were leaving Kevin yelled to my son, "BFF," and that meant the world to him. Kevin gave Austin a signed copy of his book and I just finished reading it. I have never been so touched. Kevin and I had talked that night of great books we have read and I definitely have to add Kevin's book to that list. Austin has been on Kevin's web site every day since then and is buying everything in sight! Thanks again for a wonderful and life changing experience."

"Please pass along our sincerest thanks to Kevin for an amazing performance on Saturday night! The music was, of course, spectacular but the repartee between Kevin and the audience between songs, and the stories he told, were exactly what the audience needed! God bless Kevin, not only for having the courage to share such a personal experience but, for having the wisdom to know that his personal experience would help others! He's an amazing cat!
I can thank you guys enough for working with us on the rate and doing such a wonderful job. Please tell Kevin that he has an open invitation to come to our little corner of the world whenever he wants!"
Thanks again, he was, as always, absolutely AMAZING!!

"Sue, I have honestly been taken completely off guard by all this. I am sure you guys hear it all the time, but I have never seen one person touch so many and I know I have said this but I am truly amazed by Kevin's gift. If only there were more Kevin's in the world life would be so much easier. I honestly did not realize just how far and wide Kevin's appearance would mean to so many. I knew his story and background and thought it would be special for the kids but honestly he touched everyone there in one way or another. I am in complete awe of Kevin and his special gift to touch so many lives. He truly is an angel!"

"Your concert in Pell City Alabama changed my daughter's life. I could not attend because my mother is very ill and I was afraid to leave her, so my daughter attended in my place. I have heard nothing but how incredible you are. She called me as she was leaving the parking lot after the concert, telling me how special you were and totally sincere. Thank you for your caring, loving heart. I know you really made an impression on my daughter, because of your awesome talent, and your honesty and love for others. I hope you will come back to Alabama so I can meet you. God bless you for just being you."

"Words cannot describe the emotion in Pell City today! Kevin touched the hearts of hundreds and as word spreads, more hearts are being touched simply from hearing about last night. Not only were hearts touched, but lives have been changed. I have never been an emotional person, but as you saw last night, my life was changed. You all were so gracious and I know I have found some great friends. I felt like I had known Kevin all my life."

"The Kevin Sharp concert to promote fundraising for cancer research and Lakeside Hospice was a smashing success! Kevin, last night , played to a sold-out crowd and the 2006-2007 Leadership Pell City class earned the distinction of raising more money on a community service project than any other in the history of the program! Incredible!"

"It was a pleasure to meet Kevin last month on the 2006 Country Cruise! He’s truly an amazing person and an inspiration to all. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to meet him. When I’m asked about the cruise I tell everyone of course what a wonderful time I had, but the best part of it was meeting Kevin. I can’t tell anyone about him without getting tears in my eyes. He truly touched my heart."
~ Cynthia Preston, Des Moines, Iowa
"I had the wonderful opportunity of meeting Kevin on the country music cruise in December. I chose Kevin for a meet and greet because I had seen the difference he made in the life of one of my patients. Alyssa is a stage IV Ewings survivor who is now a happy Junior higher who now only comes to visit our pediatric unit for FUN! Her grandma got Kevin's book way back when Alyssa was first diagnosed and I know it made a difference in their lives. I am now ordering a book for another patient! Francisco is 18 and was diagnosed this year with stage IV Ewings also! I had planned on getting a book and dog tag prior to even leaving on the cruise for him. Once I met Kevin at both the meet and greet and the talk that he did, I was so touched by his generous heart and love for people that I forgot to get the book! Once I got it together, the books were all gone! So I was hoping to get one personalized for Francisco now! I can honesty say that Kevin was the absolute highlight of that cruise for me! I came back to work and told all the other pediatric nurses about Kevin. Oh and we now stream his music over the computers!"

I enjoyed your words, your songs, your empathy and your compassion……I’m not normally much of a music fan, being a numbers person, but I will now, forever be a fan of the man that God is allowing Kevin Sharp to be! "WOW! That is the only word I can use to describe Kevin Sharp's presentation at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. He is one of the most amazing people we have had on campus. The audience is on an emotional rollercoaster throughout the program. One minute you're laughing and the next minute you're almost in tears. He shares his stories of life-changing experiences that gives everyone in attendance hope. After hearing his presentation, you will look at life in a different way. It was great that Kevin performed a few of his songs during the evening. It really set the tone for the event. I hope he has the opportunity to visit many college campuses across the United States."

"This past weekend I had the pleasure of working with a nationally-known cancer survivor and entertainer, who not only helped us make the opening of McKee's Cancer Center very successful, but also touched the lives of the entire Loveland, Colorado community - country music entertainer Kevin Sharp. His speech and performance was wonderful! He spent hours with cancer patients talking with them about his experience with the disease. He shared his life with us and his music in a way that gave us hope and kindled a spark in all of us."
